About EQUANIMA

The aim is to create a space for empowerment, female leadership and authenticity in rural areas. In this project the target group are youth and young women between 18 and 30 years old. In the context of a self-care group, various outdoor settings (mountain, river, forest, animal-assisted intervention with horses and goats) are used to reflect on particular challenges of "being a woman" in the group and subsequently try out new perspectives and approaches to action, so that each participant comes into her power as much as possible and thus contributes to strengthening her self-efficacy and subsequently to gender equality.
